The council

The parish council represents the interests of the whole of the Ludgvan community There are twelve members of the council, supported by an officer (the Clerk). Councillors each contribute a wide range of experiences and expertise (and enthusiasms) to the task of making the parish a better place to live in.

Members of the public and the press are both entitled and welcome to attend all parish  council meetings.  These are held on the second Wednesday of each month, usually at the Murley Hall, Ludgvan, and are advertised in advance on notice boards around the parish and on this website.

The first 15 minutes of every meeting is designated as a ‘Public Participation Period’ during which members of the public are able to ask questions or raise concerns about any item on the agenda (or, indeed, any other matter within the Council’s competence).

If you have any comments or suggestions to make and would like to contact the Council, you can do so by emailing the Parish Clerk at clerk@ludgvan.org.uk
